The ObjectSituation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
A small round object sitting on a table slides across very slowly and soon comes to a stop when a person hits it. Then the person changes one thing about the situation, and hits the object again with the same force, and the object goes much farther and faster. It is the same table, the same object, and the same force used in hitting it.
HintThink about games.
AnswerThe table is an air hockey table. The person turned on the air. This takes away a LOT of friction so the object (an air hockey puck) goes much faster.
