Septic PumpSituation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
SGT Johnson was patrolling his beat one day and saw a man attempting to siphon fuel from a motor home. After a few attempts, the thief finally got something from the tube. SGT Johnson calmly went up to the house that the motor home was parked in front of and informed the owner of what had happened. He then asked if they wanted to press charges. Amid bursts of laughter, the owner declined to press charges.
