A Regretted JumpSituation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
A man stands on the edge of a ledge of outside the window of his office on the 62nd floor. He believes he has nothing to live for and he decides to jump. Just as he steps off, the phone rings. Upon hearing the phone ring, he immediately regrets having made such a hasty decision; however, he cannot stop his fall.
