I am a stock, a repertoire if you will,
A way to mesmerize people with your skill.
If you had a good inventory of me, you'd say 'abbreviated' instead of 'short',
And when someone asks you how the food is, you'd say 'delectable' instead of 'nice and hot'!
You'd roll words out effortlessly, flatter all with your diction;
You'd switch wonderfully between fact and fiction.
People would enjoy listening to you talk, wondering what new word you'd employ today;
Perhaps it might be 'surreptitious', but you won't say!
