Aesop's Fables V
We've all read Aesop's Fables in one form or another. These interesting stories captivate our attention and always leave us with a moral. One of those morals is hidden in the story below. Can you find it?
The Finch family was always coming up with new games to entertain themselves when the entire clan got together, and a formidable group they were! When the entire Finch clan got together, games had to be thought out for about 25 people at least!
Tina thought of a fun game when she saw one of her feather stuffed pillows had broken open and a bunch of feathers fluttered on the floor. She triumphantly gathered them and went to the garden where everyone was assembled and announced, "New game everyone!"
Her idea was simple. She'd give everyone feathers, either one, two or three feathers. Everyone would then scatter about the yard, and when she whistled, all those with a single feather in their hand had to be in one group. All those with more than one feather had to be sure to stay away from this group and not huddle into groups themselves either.
The results were quite hilarious and entertaining for all. The Finch family hadn't had this much fun in a long, long time!
AnswerBirds of a feather flock together.
All those having a single feather in their hand had to "flock" together. A finch is a type of bird, and the surname of this family is also "Finch".
