The bit to have one more clue.

Answer
SYZYGY.The three Y's are not vowels, but they do provide the vowel sounds.
SZG is the three-letter airport code for Salzburg's (Salt Mountain in German) W. A. Mozart Airport. The letters also alternate with the Y's in syzygy.
Syzygy is the alignment of three celestial bodies in a straight line. Two of the best examples happen every month: a full moon and a new moon. Sometimes, a blue moon (a second full moon in a month or in a year, depending on your definition) happens as well.
Syzygy would be a good word to play in Scrabble. Assuming of course you had at least one blank to cover the fact that there are only two Y's.
