Four SiblingsRiddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.
The eldest son all dressed in white
Bitter with the sharpest bite His tears will hurt you If you get caught in their embrace He destroys his siblings' work And leaves nothing in its place The eldest daughter in varied colors Voice much softer than her brother's Her tears fall warm As she cries to her garden She gives her art to her brother And its life he hardens. The youngest son in green and blue Voice as soft as a kitten's mew He often cries When he grins Takes after his brother In his sins The youngest daughter colored deeply Has a bite but still speaks sweetly Her tears are cold And often bitter Her sister's work She turns to litter What Next?
