Misunderstood or Inventive?Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement. My teachers called me "addled" and, to further my education, I had to be home schooled.
This just goes to show how many people can be fooled. Often, people thought my questions excessive. In reality, my mind was simply inquisitive. Candy, newspapers, and vegetables I sold. I would do anything to stay out of the cold. To follow my dream, I built a research center. As a result, I became America's most prolific inventor. Creating inventions, I soon became a champ. I'm best known for creating the electric lamp. With all these facts, give it a try. Can you figure out my name; who am I? What Next?
