Answer
Group 1 (Unscrambled): PHOENIX, THUNDERBIRD, CHONCHON, MINOTAUR, SUZAKU
A "minotaur" is a mythical beast. The rest of Group One are all mythical birds. "TMUNROAI" should be unscrambled to "MINOTAUR" and moved to Group 2.
Some brief facts about each mythical creature are listed below.
Phoenix - One of the most famous mythical birds. Phoenixes are sometimes considered immortal. After their "deaths", they are reborn from their own ashes.
Thunderbird - Another somewhat famous bird, this time in Native American lore.
Chonchon - A mythical bird that often inspires fear. The chonchon is the transformation of a Kalkus sorcerer.
Suzaku - A less well-known Chinese mythical bird.
Minotaur - A large, frightening beast in Greek Mythology with the head of a bull and the body of a man.
Basilisk - A creature who had a fatal glare, but could be killed by the crowing of roosters.
Unicorn - A horse-like animal with a horn.
Yale - A horse-sized mythical beast with two horns.
