| hey nice teaser, i submitted one quite similar recently, and due to the fact that this one was already posted, which i was not aware of, it didnt get posted :- (
the diffrence with mine was that i used the same cloud names, but instead of Ag, i put a diffrent word around each one, each associated with silver- ie/ moonlight, foil, tinsel..... but well done anyway!!!! |

| I always thought the silver was in the inside. Anyway, good teaser. |

| Loved it! i didnt get it though. . I dont know why, though, cuz now i look at it, it seems so easy. good job! |

| I TOO THINK THE LINING SHOULD BE ON THE INSIDE. (HOW 2 DO THAT, I DON'T KNOW. |

| Took me a sec cuz when I first looked at it I thought of gold instead of silver but I quickly figured it out as soon as I read the type of clouds. Nice teaser! |

| Sure enough a "lining" IS defined
as a layer of something ( silver in
this case ) INSIDE something else.
But if you look at the definition of
the word "silvering", it's an outer
layer or coating of/with silver.
So the teaser still works. |

| Fun and easy. I liked it. Took me a second but as soon as I noticed the cloud names I got it.
Great job!! Keep 'em coming...I do love rebuses. |

This isn't perfect by any stretch, but says "silver lining" more clearly to me than the "ag" surrounding the clouds. |

| Good teaser. Very easy.
karenokupniak's solution would not improve the nit picking accuracy. It implies Silver inside the cloud, somewhat different from a lining.
I say it works just fine the way it is. |

| Way too easy when you can identify the word Silver immediately |

Jul 09, 2007
| It was so clever!!! I knew the clouds and the silver but it took me a second to get the answer! and even then I worded it wrong |
breathesunshine
Jul 09, 2007
| Got this right off. It might not fit perfectly for lining but if you know what Ag stands for then it's pretty easy to figure out. |

2ndhandrose
Jul 09, 2007
| I knew the three types of clouds
but couldn't figure out what was
surrounding them. Don't know
too many chemical formulas.
A lining is on the inside I believe,
otherwise I might have guessed
the silver part. It is more like
a covering . Just my opinion.
Thanks for someting to think about
and the new formula to remember.

Jul 09, 2007
| good one I didn't get it but .... If you look at a dark cloud with sunlight behind it the cloud is OUTlined ... that is a lining isn't it? |
