Entering the Elevator
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
Upon entering an elevator, Kristen becomes scared and suddenly sits down on the floor. A few seconds later she gets up laughing. How can you explain this?

There was a man with his dog already in the elevator when she entered. As she entered the man yelled "Lady Sit!" and she did so, only to realise a few seconds later that the guy was actually speaking to his dog, named Lady.

| i thought that one of her friends was pulling a practical joke and had dressed up as a robber/murderer of some kind, he ordered her to sit on the ground, and then showed her who it was |

| I heard this one story where this one lady was fearful of a paricular minority, and she went into an elevator. Then a man of the ethnicity she is fearful of gets into the elevator, and says "Hit the floor". She got down on the elevator floor, and the man explained to her that he meant for her to hit the floor button in the elevator. She laughed, and was never fearful of minorities ever again.
