Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.
I know a word of letters three. Add two, and fewer there will be. What is it?

| I put this up on the board for one of my maths classes today and one of the students pointed out another answer that works - ewe. Add and f at the start and an r at the end and you have fewer. This would have to be one of my all-time favourite teasers though. |

| it could be ten (10). Ten has three letters. add two letters to three letters which equals five letters. a number with five letters is three (3). three (3) is less than ten. |

| You know the riddle also works if you consider the words "three", add "two" and the word "five" has fewer letters.
Just an observation there are two valid answers. |
