I don't know where this cowboy notion came from. Except that you always hear about "cowboys and Indians".

He was temporarily a brigadier general during the Civil War, but this was a temporary rank that was rescinded at the end of the war. At the time of his death, he was, as I said, a lieutenant colonel. |

| This was a Wonderful Teaser, and so many comments, but there is only one perfect answer to this teaser.
I of course got the perfect Answer. That is: A Day of Rest....
A Cowboy trained to kill Indians. He would have ONE day of Rest, giving the Indians TWO days of Rest. He would get One Cowboy trained to Kill Indians and each Indians would have to fend off TWO cowboys trained to kill Indians.
Excellent Teaser. I just wished he could have created a different subject matter and not Indians.
