2 Legs, 3 Legs, Sitting
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.
What does a man do on 2 legs,
a dog do on 3 legs,
and a woman do sitting down?
Answer
Shake hands
To explain the man and woman part of this... it is considered correct social etiquette for a man to stand to shake hands (hence two legs) and a woman to remain sitting.

| Yes, there is obviously another answer that springs immediately to mind, perhaps the teaser should ask "what ELSE does... |

| As a woman, I would never remain sitting to shake someone's hand. It would be considered so rude! I believe that etiquette must have changed a looong time ago.
Anyway, this was a very funny teaser! I was sure the answer was urinate, as I'm sure everyone else was thinking as well!
