In set shifts we work
With our hands we pluck
A master each, one is black.

The Two Clocks in a Chess Clock
A chess clock has two faces in one body (back).
When one is on,the other is off (shifts)
Each has a pair of hands which tell the time consumed by a player.
One twin for white, one twin for black.
Tic and Tac suggest clock.
Master is a title in chess.
Hint: Deep Thought is a chess computer.

| I just wondered, though, I never heard of Deep Thought as a chess computer. The only Deep Thought I know of is from the "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" series. Deep Thought was a computer built to figure out the answer to Life, Universe, and Everything, then Deep Thought designed Earth to figure out the question. Are you a Douglas Adams fan, or am I just that clueless when it comes to chess? |

| I agree with mixee. I thought of tic tacs when u said tic and tac. I've always seen it written as tick and tock. |
