A spoonerism is a transposition of initial sounds of two or more words (as in "tons of soil" for "sons of toil").

So... What is a spoonerism for a counterfeit creature as opposed to a banquet of oven-cooked foods?

Answer

The first is a fake beast, and the second is a bake feast!

'Bake feast'? That's terrible grammar. 'Faked beast'/'Baked feast' is much better.

montie317...yours isn't a spoonerism...I liked this one, but I got faked beast/baked feast also. I love it when you have to wurn your turds around to get the answer to one of the taily deasers.

I agree with Mook-what's his-name above. "Bake feast" is bad grammar and an unnatural English phrase. "Baked feast" and "faked beeast" would be much better.

I'm in the same boat as 2ndhandrose. I don't often get the
right answer on spoonerisms. I like scallio's alternative answer too! I find the category fun, just need practice, practice, practice
