In 1893 Gustave-Edouard Laguesse (1861-1927) attached the name Langerhans to the structures. They are generally referred to as the "Islets" of Langerhans.

I have found many refernces to it the way it appears in this teaser on Google. Isles works better as a teaser, so I dont see a problem

I agree with you, ai also think its a shame that the Trick questions sre shown as such, as it gets your brain into the mind set of looking for the trick straight away. I always like to be completely fooled that it is a Trick question.

I knew there wasn't any "islet of langerham" because 1. That is too
strange of a name to be and island
2.I look at my history teacher's big world map everyday, and I've found real islands named Starbuck, McDonald Island, South Sandwich Islands, and Campbell. Never have I found any islet.

THIS IS HILARIOUS!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!! Also am I the only one who got the hint in the title? The pancreas controls the blood sugar, thus the "sweet". Great teaser!
