| kind of, it means that you did the whole thing. Like if i were to say
oh ya bob brought the drinks and everything to the party.
I could also say bob brought the food drinks.... you know, the whole nine yards.

| Actually, this phrase comes from fighter pilots of WW2. Their machine guns held exactly 27 feet of ammunition, and when they shot it all at one target, that target got the whole nine yards. |
