Which Eye?

A girl was lying on her bed on her right ear. She picked up a flower and made it level with her nose. First she looked at it with her right eye only (and left eye closed), and then she looked at it with her left eye only (with right eye closed). She noticed that when she closed one eye the flower looked closer to the bed than when she closed the other eye. Which eye did she close to make the flower look closer to the bed?
Answer
She closed her right eye. Since her left eye was further away from the bed, it would see the flower from a higher angle, making the flower appear to be lower and therefore closer to the bed.

| Interesting. It's easy enough to step through the process, but the trick is in the last sentence - which eye did she have to CLOSE. It's natural to think of which eye was open to make the flower look closer to the bed. The correct answer is the opposite of that. |

| the editors might have moved this to the science category, even tho it should go in.....i dont no. lol science might be the closest thing. well that was a good one anywayz, i tested it with my finger and had a lot of fun! doesnt take much to entertain me. well keep writing them! |
