it could also be because the robbers get away car was really the police officers car so the police officer took the robbers car. when the robber shot the cop car tire, it made him slow down. then it was easier for the cop to catch up w/ the robber.

the robber could have been sitting in his car but hadnt started the car yet the police officer was on foot and ran to the robbers car and caught him so it wouldnt matter if the police car had a flat tire

not a very good riddle if you ask me

I agree with them. You need to apply more restrictions.

it says the cop is chasing the suspect in a vehicle, i dont think chasing means sitting. So he was in the car. But i kind of thought that the robber's get away car was the cops personal car, so when he flattened his own tire, it wasnt hard for the cop to catch up.

Hmm, how easy is it to reach a spare tire in a police vehicle? Usually it in the trunk bottom or side, or underneath the vehicle, so for the bullet to reach the tire it would have to go through the whole car, assuming the cop wasnt making a turn.
