I don't subscribe to the view that everything should be earth shatteringly difficult - I'm far happier when I get them right than when I have to give in and get the answer. Also, I would imagine that most people using the site have different areas where they shine so we need differing levels of difficulty to cater for everyone.

And I totally missed the "my first is second in line" bit. Didn't realize it had to do w/ letters. I need to come up w/ a good one...aha, I got one. I'll see if I can post it.

marschie Nov 11, 2006	I thought it was a Bee. "My first is second in line ..." I thought of the line as the alphabet, and bees certainly make my spine shiver and bees shimmer as they fly because you can't focus on them. Maybe I'll submit the same riddle with an answer of : BEE.

But, no, you had to make it too easy, and I kept trying to make it too hard! At first I thought it was snow...so that is close to ice, isn't it??? Anyway, thanks. That was fun and a good riddle and, dag nab it, it was EASY!
