I like the title by the way! Maybe I should have looked at it to help me work out the answer... not that I'd have got it anyway...

oh, now i get it!! i thought it was just a really easy teaser, and all you have to do is spell the word CONDUCT out using the code, but that didn't really make any sense. now i get it!! using the CODE to spell out CONDUCT!!! good one!

Mar 19, 2005

i dont understand how "behave" helps with the answer .. srry :S
MrIxoliteAen*
Mar 20, 2005

Well, firstly i would say that teaser tiltes do not have to help with the answer. And secondly would not a code of conduct be a method of behaviour?

Jan 15, 2007

haha, that was a good one! I didn't think I was gonna get it. When I noticed the title, I thought, huh, behave, conduct, good behavior, um, ...? Then I gave up and when I went to see the answer, I saw again "behave", and then "c=@", and I thought: "code, it's a code... OH! Code of Conduct!" !!! yay!

Its great to get one after I had already given up! That's a good one, and thanks!

Jan 15, 2007

Since "conduct" = question, I too thought "questionable Conduct" was the obvious answer.

Very Good! I must admit though that I thought for sure that it was 'questionable conduct'. That would also fit with the title. Thanks

I didn't get it either. Took one look & decided the answer had something to do with condos & donuts. But I didn't get any sleep all last night either, not that that would have made any difference.

Since I'm not so good at rebus teasers (anyone here notice how I've lately been avoiding the question of "rebuses" vs "rebi"? teehee!) I decided to go with my first guess as soon as I decyphered the code -- and no, the word code didn't come to mind, alas. I thought it was MISCONDUCT. *shrug* Oh well. Point for you!
wordmama*
Jan 16, 2007

Don't worry, Q, it's rebuses!!

I'm not generally good at these, so when I came up with the guess 'conduct unbecoming', I was thrilled to see that some other guesses were in a similar ballpark!! Yay, us!

Jan 17, 2007

I did get the correct answer, but I agree with the possiblility of thinking it could be questionable conduct. Great job. Loved it.

I came up with "question of conduct" or "questionable conduct" also. Strictly speaking, it represents "cipher of conduct" since a code is when words and phrases are replaced by secret symbols. When individual letters are substituted, it's a cipher I think. Either way, a good bit of fun.

Keep them coming. Thanks.

I guess I, and one other person, are just not as bright as the rest, but I do not understand it at all. Would someone mind explaining the answer to me and how they got it?? What is the connection between those signs numbers and letters? Thanks!
