| Its an expression that means that you get another go at something.
eg, if you have a job interview that you mess up and you think you've not got the job, then they ring you up and say they've lost your interview notes and would you mind coming in to do the interview again, you have got another bite at the cherry. I'm sure there is a deeprooted origin to this phease, i'll look it up |
