A Man and His Plane
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
A pilot, who is also the owner of a small plane, decides to take his plane out flying one afternoon. He observes that it is a sunny day with a light breeze...a perfect day for flying. Suddenly, the plane goes into a nasty nosedive towards earth. There is no engine power and the pilot can't see. When it is all over...the pilot walks away without a scratch and the plane is fine. What happened?
Answer
The pilot is the owner of a `small` plane...a paper airplane. He takes it flying, as he sees the plane go down he covers his eyes. The `light breeze` catches the plane before it hits. The pilot and airplane remain unharmed.

Remote control planes are fun stuff too, and the noise from their little motors can really cheese off your neighbors. although, if you black out and wreck it you're out a pretty penny. Fun teaser!

| He also could have been in a flight simulator (like the military uses to train pilots.) He could have crashed and the simulator cut off (there for can't see) and then he got out and walked away fine.

So sorry for the first portion of the above comment. I picked this at "random" and as I went to go to comments it appeared as though I could vote, meaning I hadn't yer, but since I added the comment it now shows I did vote, so I DID NOT read this somewhere else. Again, good teaser.

I got it right, but it actually doesn't matter what type of "small" plane it is. It couldb be a model plane, a paper airplane, etc. Other than that, it was a very easy teaser.

I thought he was unloading his little single engined plane off his truck and covered his eyes. Only to find the plane had rolled onto the tarmac. Phew
