I think a Winnebago is considered more of a motor home or RV not a van. Other than that, great teaser.

I GET IT! Very cool and hard teaser.
I think it took alot of imagination and it was very cool!!
if you are at 8 years old you should know there was at one time a Yugoslavia
The answer was fun! I didn't get any, but I am old enough and smart enough to remember Yugoslavia.
Oh my goodness, this was ROTFLOL funny!! Wellsfar-Gogh - classic!! Winnie Bay Gogh - hillarious!!
I thought it was great They were all really good I only got 5 right though! The winnie bay go one I thought that was car-go. does that even make sence.....oh well it was really good anyhow
awesome teaser..it took me a while....loved it'
lol this was a great teaser!
Yes! This was very, very fun! I got them all , at least I thought of all the answers, but although I thought of wells fargo, I didn't associate that with a stage coach. The van driving relative should obviously be van-go ! What answer is better than that? Oh, did it occur to anyone that technically, all the names whould be , for ex., verti-van-gough, which ruins the whole thing. I thought of many, many more, but they had slightly different kinds of hints, like a cousin who lives a very long way from him, Far-Gough; An Aunt who doesn't like to be held: Leg-Gough (let go, get it? Ha ha ha ha...). Oh boy, sometimes I just kill myself... Thnaks, this was the most fun!
this was a great teaser, one of a kind. i loved go-gogh... hehehe that was really creative!
You Gogh, Gander. Nice job, I love a little flakey corn for breakfast.
A Winnebago may nOOt be a van, but it makes a lot more sense than 'cargo'. Very funny, BatBrain, except that Mexicans are North Americans, and not gringos.
Your teaser reminds me of the time that my neice from California, Sandy A. Gogh, lost her dog, Ding Gogh. Her African friend, Kong Gogh, told her that long A. Gogh she should have lost her E. Gogh and ask her Hawaiian cousin, Archie Pela Gogh, to dance with Fan Dang Gogh. She jumped straight up in the air, though, when Poh Gogh found Ding Gogh and Bing Gogh returned him to Sandy A. Gogh.

I'm with almondgrief! I didn't get a single one but they were funny!
I only got four but these are hilarious!
Good teaser
Sadly "van Gogh" is NOT pronounced as "van Go".
The closest you english people can get is this way: Take LOCH from the monster of Loch Ness and substitute the L with a G.

A very magnificently fun teaser. There is a wide group of people, who will be thoroughly entertained with solving a puzzle like this, every day! Why!?? Because it can be entertaining, and it will get their own minds in gear, for the long day ahead. Keep bringing something like this teaser out on Braingle!! People will enjoy it, both young and old, wealthy or poor, male or female, and any race, cred, color or nationality, smart or dumb, fast or slow... etc
i should 0f got it but you got me ..good job.
Great language teaser! I managed to get a few correct, but only by luck!

Great but the tango is actually not a ballroom dance. The tango is a Latin-American dance...ballroom is like the foxtrot, waltz etc etc
But well done
But well done
I think this one was really reaching. Not my kind of brain teaser, so I'll leave it at that. Sorry.
That was such a good one. I didn't get any of them right but they were still fun to see.
I love it I love it I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Um, ilovebrocolli, I hate to rain on your little smarty pants parade, lol, but Tango IS INDEED a ballroom dance. If you watch any ballroom competition on TV, or take ballroom dancing lessons, you will see the Tango.
You are correct that the Tango started in South America, Argentina actually. You are also correct that it did not start as a typical ballroom dance. It started as a dance done on the streets, by gangsters, and the men used to do it with each other, not male/female, believe it or not.
But it moved from there and the streets, to the ballrooms in Paris, and then to England. The Tango they do in competitions is called "English Tango", and, it's absurd and ridiculous. The dancers look like, I don't even know, parrots, or some kind of bird. They keep their bodies very stiff, and jerk their heads from looking right to left, for what reason, who knows? It doesn't even LOOK like the Tango that we all know and love, but it evolved from that.
Once again, I'm sorry to burst your balloon, but I hate it when someone tries to burst someone else's bubble and they're wrong.

Double post, double post!
Sorry, but I have to ask: Didn't anyone else notice that if the guys LAST name is "VAN GOGH", that all these are really wrong, because it would be "Verti Van Gogh", "Winnie Bay Van Gogh", and so on? lol!

Fun Teaser!
That was soooo funnny!
I am also sorry but Van can also be used as a given name, Van Johnson, etc. So it's the guys middle name. TE
I almost forgot how much fun I had with this last year. But this time around I got them all right.
Very creative. too much for my brain today, but loooooved it!
*liked it again*
Good one,mogur! Great idea!!!!!!!!
Very creative! Unfortunately, could get only 3 right. Loved this one!
Yeah I'm with bradon on this one... maybe I'm just not in a cheesy-funny mood this morning. I think I gave up after getting Man-gogh, because I really thought that answer couldn't really be someone's name, and if the rest were like that... well.... I just didn't want to know. But I read through the clues anyways, couldn't help but ponder "hugh-gogh" and "go-gogh" and "van-gogh" (which was wrong, thank goodness).
And then I looked at the answers... oh dear! I want to meet this Uncle Flamin. Seriously.
Anyways, I had fun reading the comments at least. Good conversation starter, this is!

This Teaser was Splendid. I Thought this Teaser was funny, brilliant, with one little something wrong, but still a great teaser. For the Worth of Teaser, there were no Errors, just good down home humor and intelligence
What do I say about repeats. They have to gogh.
you would think that someone who claims to have an IQ of 167 would be able to click on the brain teaser tab and shift their gaze to the right and be able to read the newest teasers. Just because everyone reads the teaser of the day does not mean thats all there is.
Very creative and fun! I only got 4...but still fun!
LOL!
I didn't get any except Chica-gogh, but that's easy-ish, if you've been there a million-gazillion times!!!
winnie bay-gogh was hard.
I love mogul's really old comment:

Teaser was terrific, comments were even better. Loved it, but only got a couple of them right. I'm glad that it was rerun, because I missed it before.
Does everybody notice that I'm the only one shannmo slams. I really feel honored that she gives me so much attention.
your welcome
I agree with auntisis in that a repeat is not a repeat for everyone. Even though I've been on the site for 3 years, I don't sit at the computer every single day; therefore, most teasers are new to me, welcome, and enjoyable. (And if you recognize a teaser, PASS IT BY!!) Either seek out another one, or, G-d willing, tomorrow's another day!!
REALLY , LOTS OF FUN AND I WOULD LIKE TO SEE MORE OF THESE..
Hi!
Bye.
Bye.
without question the funniest yet
This was really really a great teaser. Only got a few, but still thought it was clever. Congrats!
I have a few of Van Gogh's paintings.(I wish they were originals). Fantastic artist. Also good but old teaser.
I love teasers like this one because of the humor!
AND, some of the comments are priceless!!
AND, some of the comments are priceless!!
I'm new to the site, so it was all new to me. I enjoyed the comments, and didn't feel so bad that I oly got two right. However I did feel some of my answers were not so far off. For Mexican relative I had Mexi- gogh or Tac-gohg. For bird loving cousin how about Jun-gohg.
How about:
His Mexican cousin? DIE-Gogh
His Great Grandfather who drove a stage coach? GIDDYUP'N'-Gogh
...sometimes you have to keep 'em silly.

I enjoyed it the second time around also. It was the best one in a very long time.
How sad people can't enjoy it or dislike it without nit picking it to pieces. I do not create any so I enjoy the effort6s of others who take the time. Thanks so much!
