2) RSV
3) NASB

| #1 - I find it hard to believe that this teaser is legitimately easy (a 1.52 difficulty at the time of this post).
#2 - I figured that they must be acronyms. I concluded that "NYT" did not belong, because it was the only one that I could figure out.
#3 - I hope that the comment immediately preceeding is deleted for inappropriate content. I believe that that person needs to spend some time reading the Bible instead of using language that is more appropriate for a cesspool. |

| I'm sorry, but I didn't enjoy that teaser. That was more of a Cryptography teaser than anything. |

| it would be a cryptogram if the clues were some sort of code or encoded text. in fact, they are merely abbreviations. this is a good trivia question. |

| The only acronym I know for bibles is JPS (Jewish Publication Society), and that one is extremely common/popular with people I know/my school. |

| I am a Bible-reading Catholic and managed a Catholic bookstore, so I am familiar with many versions of the Bible. It was a pleasure to see your teaser, thoughtful and fun! Thanks |

| Most of these are abbreviations, not acronyms. Please look up the difference before you use the term again.
Other than that, I liked the puzzle; thanks! |

| I'm with Fhqwhgads - four letters rather than three letters...
so this is what happens when you're an atheist, you miss out on getting teasers correct 'coz you don't know your bibles... |
