fun quiz.
I do agree that you need an American accent in order to get a couple of those, and you also need the Americanized spellings and shortened versions of some of the cities...al-Khartum...San Franciso de Quito, etc.

1) This capital is a recently opened store for cooked meats. New Delhi
2) This capital is plant-covered bovine. Mos cow
3) This capital is a tool used for fighting. War saw
4) This capital is a royal weight. Kings ton
5) This capital is a cheer for a body of water. Bei rut
6) This capital is the {legendary}[?] vehicle graveyard. Khar toum
7) This capital is something that annoys a religious figure. Buda pest
This capital is a basic[important] digit. Qui to
9) This capital is something you [might] get from the sun. Bern
10) This capital is a score for a ringer. Bel grade

I had trouble with the last one until I re-thought both ringer and score. Clues 6 and 8 (and 9) could be better written as I've shown to make them more clear and honest.

Well done.

Was able to get all but Khartoum and
Quito.
Got Bern with a bit of a leap in its pronunciation. I like others have never heard it said "burn".
