Five friends are all pilots: Mr. Johnson, Mr. Bruckner, Dr. Thompson, Mr. Landis, and Lord Christopher. Each pilot has one daughter but named his plane after a friend's daughter. Mr. Landis's plane is the Carla Jean; Dr. Thompson's, the Rene. Elizabeth Johnson's father owns the Lindsey Kay. Mr. Bruckner owns the Mary Lynn, which is named after Mr. Landis's daughter. Carla's father used Lord Christopher's daughter's name for his plane. Who is Lindsey Kay's father?

| Dude, those are double-barrel names, not surnames! Without having the same surnames as their dads, one could not get the answer as you use the clue of 'Elizabeth JOHNSON'... |

| Once you go through the basics Carla has to be either Bruckner or Thompson. Carla can't be a Bruckner because Mr. B's plane is the MaryLynn and mr. Christopher's daughters name is not Marylynn. After you figure this out, it is easy. |

| I had to write down the pilot's plane names and daughters names first. Then, I figured out who Lord Christopher's daughter is. After that I knew the answer. |
