I got it. That was easy.
cute but easy.
wow...how'd you all find it easy? I gave up quickly... But once I saw the answer, I liked it! Great teaser.

That was fun -- easy too if you used the hint, not so easy if you didn't.
Saw it before, but still a good one.
I thought this was a really good teaser. It must have taken a lot of thought to come up with this one. Oh, by the way, I didn't get it, I'm ashamed to admit.

i got it only after using the hint though
i thought the hint was kinda lame...not all food is yummy. good teaser though.

I thought it was hard, but fun to learn about. Thanks!
Ha, it took me a moment, but I got it! Yah!
Cute teaser.
I was trying to think of a word that began with the letter "D" and ended with an "E", so that by moving it to the end, it would be "ed" and therefore would be past tense.
I was SO WAY OFF!
Good teaser!

Good teaser!
Didn't get it until I read the hint, and then it was obvious. Still a great teaser.
I didn't get it until I read the hint. Very clever.
Got it but needed the hint.
yum, yum led me off in a wide area of possible answers. None of which helped. The I stood back and looked at the BIG picture......voila!! EAT-ATE
How many words are there in this world?? You have to go through a great many to figure this one out. The hint sounded more like something to eat, more than just the word eat does so I do not think it was that good. Hooray for the smart ones that say they got it, if indeed they did. Just an opinion folks!
That teaser was awesome. I am a big fan even if I didn't get it without the hint! Still an awesome teaser!
Babe,
Not as many as you may think. While The Global Language Monitor claims there are
988,968 words in the English language, That of includes course all variations and tenses of a word.
Run, Runner, runners, and running are all count as separate words.
The OED contains 171,476 words in current use, and 47,156 obsolete words.
As far as the teasers concerned, I got it only after reading the hint. I too was looking for a word that start with D and end with an e.

It's super hard, but the hint gave it away.
Good one but I was thinking of 'Eaten'.
Fun and entertaining teaser; It took a little while but I got it and did not need the hint.
