This should really be in trick, since the most obvious answer would be gladdened, which is a verb..

agenda doesn't belong even if you do not have any math words
inside those other words!

That was hard, I didn't know gladdened was even a word.

Cool teaser... I like it

That was a good teaser, because I wasn't thinking about the fact that the words had math terms in them. That was pretty good.

I got the right answer but not in the manner in which it was supposed to be! Two words had nine letters and two had ten letters which left the fifth (correct answer word) as odd man out... So, am I right or wrong?! Correct answer - wrong reason!!!

I didn't think of it in a mathematical way. Agenda is the only word that starts and ends in the same letter. AgendA.

I'll add my more general observation to the stack: even with the title, there aren't enough examples here for a solver to discriminate your intended answer from other valid answers. In emotional terms, there's no "Aha!" epiphany that tells me I have the correct solution.

I don't the the "only verb" answer is good enough, because the other words don't share a part of speech or general class that would partition them from the verb/adjective. I settled on "agenda" because of its brevity and lack of suffix.

Given all the math-related terms in existence, I'd like to see more examples in this, including some that eliminate other "correct" answers.

I got to the same answer thinking more in the terms of psychology, but don't mind me, i'm just a delusional wanna-be Great teaser, keep up the good job
