If it took 5 seconds for one popper to pop, 5 seconds for two poppers to pop, 5 seconds for three poppers to pop, 5 seconds for four poppers to pop, how many seconds would it take for 100 poppers to pop?

It is way too easy with the extra information. You should have just made it:

If it took 5 seconds for one popper to pop, many seconds would it take for 100 poppers to pop?

Either way, isn't this more of a trick question?

Sane, if he made it that way, then the normal person would think: "ok, so it took 5 seconds for one, then 5 times 100 will be 500 seconds for 100 poppers." i liked the teaser very much!!!! It got me!
