1 Line Makes it True
Take this equation:
ll-llll=ll
Now move 1 line to make it true.
ll-llll=ll
Now move 1 line to make it true.

mmmm.... The math is not correct using ones, that's what threw me. Maybe if x's were used instead. Dunno...
not too shabby i agrre with the previous statments however. There could be some improvments but if this is ure first teaser Way to go!
Yeah, I think using roman numeral I's would make it less confusing. although I also skimmed and didn't catch the 1 "line" remark so I was actually tricked that way.
I thought of moving the - sign so that it was squeezed inbetween the four 1's. So that it would have read 4-2=2. OR 1111-11=11.
If you just used lower case L's and refered to them as lines that might work better. Good job for your first one though!!!

I don't get it. Oh well!
sould be under trick instead of math but good one still.
great teaser! good job
yeah, roman numeral would help but still a good one. was fun!!
That was fun... The weird ones threw me off..
i thought it would turn out to be eleven minus eleven minus eleven equals negative eleven
really cool!!
how does 'one thousand one hundred and eleven" minus "eleven" equal "eleven"???
Even Roman numerals wouldn't work. four is IV not IIII.

ok after reading the comments it made a little more sense, but it's still like whoa , ya no???
well, it wasnt supposed to be 1s (ones) it was just supposed to be lines. o well, im glad most of u liked it!
It would work mathematically by taking a one from the foursome, and placing it diagonally over the equal sign, making it a 'not-equal-to' sign.
Woot! Good job!
wow sethy your really good at this!!!
i liked it alot i dint even get it that shows how good it was!!!

great job on your first teaser sethy. I look forward to your next.
Oh..............I feel so dumb now
hey good one u fooled me!!
Or you could make the = into a does not equal sign!
I guessed move the subtration sign and have it slnted over the equals sign so it says 6 does not equal 2
Cooleo
Very good Idea!
IIII-II=II
(Romans usually used IIII, we simplified it to IV)

Same issue with lack of clarity if the "lines" were ones or tally marks. Saw the expected solution right away, but spent some time looking for a solution that treated the lines as ones instead of tally marks.
