Oh, and the colorless part confused me on the diamond. I guess the colors in a diamond are reflections. Good Teaser! I like this type. Keep them coming

shawneeo Jun 22, 2006	These were good. But, all diamonds are not colorless, there are colored diamonds, although very rare. Also, in the rough does NOT mean rough environment or anything about the environment, it just refers to the diamond not being cut and polished, the form in which its found originally. And, dropping like flies means: being bored? I've never heard that meaning of it before. But thats nothing wrong with the teaser, it was just a surprise to me. All in all, pretty good and hard, thanks! Btw: yesterday someone apologized for "yelling" in capitals. I think people get a little silly with that, admonishing peeps for "yelling" and being offended. For everyone's info., I am legally blind, and on many formats, I can only read stuff if the writer uses all capitals. And, let's face it, although I thought it was very good of the person to apologize, the person is NOT actually yelling, are they? No, they aren't. Sorry, just a pet peeve of mine, but I think its kinda silly to get really bent outta shape over something that's just symbolic. Sorry, I couldn't help adding my two cents. I know, who asked me?

MurfQ Jun 22, 2006	Another excellent collection. These are a lot of fun. This was a little trickier than the last one I did. Actually had to think about a couple of them. And what's more, I had to look up diptera before I got the third one. Way to use obscure words! I love it!! bradon - the "This is offensive" is a link that can be used by anyone to report a comment that they find to be unnecessarily offensive. eric - you are probably just thinking of the wrong definition of delivered like I was at first. It is not in the sense of delivering a package, it is in the sense of being delivered from something bad, set free, or saved.

Colloquialisms are defined as usages of speech to describe an event or condition that is not to be translated - or taken - by the literal definition of the phrase. Colloquialisms are also characterized as being accepted for such usage by a geographic or cultural language sub-group, as these certainly are. So the author is correct in the categorization. GOOD JOB, CPlus !!! (I gave you an "A").

Babe Jun 22, 2012	Did not know what Diptera was and did not think "to be delivered" meant saved. Otherwise it was O.K. I got 3 and guessd at the diamond one and got it because I could not think of anything else with a bell. Do not see the reasoning of to be delivered meaning saved. Just me though!
