(9) craniac Feb 07, 2008 This one made me feel smart! locutus13ds Feb 07, 2008 I blew a few brain cells, but no dice!! Good one.. dogg6pound9 Feb 07, 2008 great job!!!... these series teasers always get the brain cells active... took me a few minutes, but it eventually came to me 2ndhandrose Feb 07, 2008 Excellent! I didn't get it tho. Maybe next time. Thanks plrm01 Feb 07, 2008 another way to get 6 is if you subtract the middle number from both the first and last numbers you are left with a multiple of 9. So, 37-10=27 27=9x3 & 82-10=72 72=9x8 etc. SweetPotato Feb 07, 2008 Good one, thanks. Aw, I thought there were 4 separate problems ... I never got to the one with the question mark before I gave up. Next time i'll look at the whole problem first. plrm01 ... so when you get to the multiple of 9, how do you get 6 from that? I'm missing something. bradon182001 Feb 07, 2008 Boy do I feel dumb. Apparently not my strong suit. Good teaser even though I didn't get it. xlrfreak Feb 07, 2008 COOL nice trick angelawrence94 Feb 07, 2008 cool, but hard mondayschild59 Feb 07, 2008 Great teaser, even if I missed it. Thanks for posting. Monday~ auntiesis Feb 07, 2008 Good one, Fishmed. I didn't get it, but I enjoy this kind of teaser. Thanks UptheHill Feb 07, 2008 Two words, NI CE!! thecatladycac Feb 07, 2008 I did something similar to plrm01 - multiply the first digit in the first number by nine and then subtract that answer from the number (37 - 3x9=27; 37-27=10. So 42 - 4x9=36; 42-36=6) Do the same with the 2nd number, only it it on instead of subtracting it! SweetPotato Feb 08, 2008 thecatladycac and plrm01, you guys are good . plrm01, I finally figured out how your method works ... clever! plrm01 Feb 08, 2008 sweetpotato, I'm glad that you figured it out. Sorry it took me so long to respond back to you. Holo Feb 08, 2008 Cool elentir Feb 07, 2011 I also got it via plrm01's method. Zinovia Feb 07, 2011 A little too easy, but still fun. Thanks for the teaser! Babe Feb 07, 2014 That was really good! Until I saw the answer I had no idea what we were suposed to do. Next time I will have a better clue. Good one! Zykezex Feb 07, 2014 Got it from the first (1'st) # in each series; didn't see the connection to the last number in each series though. cutebug Feb 07, 2014 Got it after a good brain workout.
