Brain Teasers
The Music Shop
On 17 Greendale Street, Tony Owens owned a brass music store. Next to him, there was another music shop owned by Jeff Ringlington. One day, two kids named Jerry and Spencer went into one music shop and then the other looking for an instrument. A couple of days later, an instrument went missing. The police were put on the case. The next day they found a clarinet in the deserted alley on Juleps Avenue. Both music store owners immediately told the police that it was their instrument. The chief of police told the officers to give it to Jeff Ringlington. What made the chief so sure it belonged to Jeff?
Hint
Look at the type of musical stores they are.Answer
It was because Tony Owens' shop was a brass shop. Therefore the clarinet could not belong to Tony as it was a woodwind instrument.Hide Hint Show Hint Hide Answer Show Answer

Guess what? I like big butts and i can not lie... but now something to do with the brain teaser. I loved it
I liked it but the hint kinda gave it away. Good one, though!
Yeah, it was very easy. You should have made the fact that the other one was a brass instrument store a little more subtle. I don't know how, but still..O_o
Everything starts up easy, but then they will get harder to solve.
Nice teaser.
Keep on!

gr8 teaser...kinda of easy tho...waiting 4 ur next one...
dnt hate me 4 this...buuutttt....i dnt lik music anymore....but its only because my instrument in gr. 7 was trombone so dnt blame me...
I did not look at hint, so i figured only one police report was filed. So the cops already knew the owner. Because it states an instrument was missing meaning one.
my friend thought becuz it was brass but she sounded confused i thought since it said"went in to one then the other looking for an instrument" that one sold CD's and the other was instruments!!
good job hint gave it away but overall good job
I know nothing about instuments but I got it! Yay!
that was eazy peazy lemon sqeezy!
i know nothing about music, but i got it almost immediately. don't know why this involves the kids though. the hint really gave it away.
I didn't quit get it until I read the hint. Nice work.
That was easy on-a-counta' I'm in band!
really easy, but I liked reading it!
kool
I really enjoyed the teaser. Good work!
It might have been harder if the instrument was an English horn and not a clarinet, since the name "horn" makes many non-musicians think of a brass instrument (The English Horn actually resembles a lower oboe)
for me, this was incredibly easy.
but then again
I'm in marching band..
but then again
I'm in marching band..
Got it! Used to play instrument and they taught us about those things!
Ще го научим тоз инглиш, ама кога ще е ...
I thought that it might have something to do with the police being "on the case"
the hint gave it away..
That was a good teaser. Easy but good.
Easy and I don't even read the hints. I thought the story could have been a bit longer.
Thanks for a fun teaser!

Hmmm the Clarinet could also belong to Tony Owens. What if he owns a clarinet and lost it. But I guess that possibility doesn't count since it wasn't on the story
That was easy, but I still love music!!!!!!!
