| This teaser was ok. A lot of people wouldn't get it if they didn't know a lot about swimming. I still thought it was good though! |

| I got four of them pretty quickly. But I gotta admit, I've never heard of the pencil dive (and i was a diver on the swim team in college.) Is "Pencil dive" a regional or local name for a dive? I did enjoy it. Keep 'em coming! |

| I would guess a "pencil" dive, would be when you hit the water completely straight, like a pencil; and cut through the water without a splash.
It took me a minute, but I finally decided they were all dives. |

| Picking nits: Cannon Ball and Can Opener are "jumps", where you go in feet first. At no point are you moving towards the water head first. Are they still "dives"? |

| As I was never on the dive team, I don't know for sure, but I think you can still qualify both as dives; if you are going to be picky about the hing, well then technically, you NEVER hit the water head first, you go in ARMS/HANDS first. I also had never heard of a pencil dive, but assumed as did a previous poster what it was. If that qualifies as a dive (and there are 1000s of hits on google for it) then so should the other two. |

| Karen, there are plenty of official dives where the entry is feet first. a belly flop is actually a failed dive but still in the dive category. pretty fun |

| A 'sailor dive' is actually head-first...a pencil dive is just jumping in standing straight up & down - about as much a 'dive' as a cannon ball is. |

| Pencil dive is a stretch. Swan Dive or "layout" is the only competitive dive. Maybe "names of recreational stunts off of a diving board"?

| I liked this one. Can someone tell me what a swan dive is? Also, can someone tell me what a can openner is? |

| Can opener and Pencil must be very obscure names. Even though the other three made the category obvious, I couldn't make any sense of those two. |
