This movie was remade in 1998 and starred Eddie Murphy as Dr. Dolittle, a doctor who could talk to animals and they talked to him. It was such a popular comedy that Eddie Murphy starred in Dr. Doolittle II. Sorry if my teaser confused you and did not make sense. But, it really was a very funny movie!
