Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.
Two kids were sitting on a school bus. One of them was looking out the window. The other looked over and said, "What's wrong, why are you sad?" He couldn't see her face, and she was not making any sounds, so how did he guess?
HintShe may have been sad but not blue.

| "Mood rings" consist of heat-sensitive quartz, which DO work since mood affects body temperature. Somewhat coincidentally, blue is sad, red is mad. |

| Didn't say his/her reflection could not be seen! BTW it's blue for happy in mood rings which really don't work! I can be really really happy when I'm quite hot and flustered at certain times  |
