I could tell, at least I think, that you looked through the dictionary for words that worked, but to find all those words that all took the same four letter prefix, wow! I GOT THEM ALL, YEA!!!!! But I had a hard time with 4 and 8, cause longhorn and longbow are so, um, antique, and something about 8, each so different. Love it when it's hard but I finally get them all, thanks! (I added evil here because he doesn't get used much, and it's all good)

iteachkids Nov 05, 2005	Yeah, the term "prefix" in the directions threw me off, too, but once I saw the first answer, I went back to also think about adding 4-letter words to create compound words. Some of them were VERY tough. GOOD WORK!

shawneeo Nov 05, 2005	A fire sale is technically a sale after a fire when you sell whatever is not totally burnt up, but it's used to mean , you know, like, low, low, low prices, etc. The header said it could be a word or PHRASE that was formed, and I agree, maybe the ONLY improvement could have been to say something besides prefix, or something in addition to prefix.
