A Starring Role?
Situation
Situation puzzles (sometimes called lateral thinking puzzles) are ones where you need to ask lots of yes or no questions to figure out what happened in the situation. These are good puzzles for groups where one person knows the puzzle and answers the questions.Situation

Hint

ah! this is nice, i was thinking she was sad because thats her role in the movie (being sad) duh!! nice work!!
I figured she died, almost right
I was pretty sure she wasnt going to be in much of the movie.
I thought she was dead as soon as it started. good one, I guess that is what vanity gets you
nicely done - not a staring role but a title role - I love the old black and whites and got it with the hint.
I didn't get this one....i was thinking of "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm." I like the part about the vain actress and her dead character, though.
i thought that the actress would have to go thru mud or a graveyard or something. good teaser.
hehe thats funny.
I thought she was ugly in the movie!
I didn't get it ... but good teaser!
I pretty much guessed the right answer...
I thought the actress had to play the role of a really ugly or old person, hence she'd be made up to look really bad). Oh well...
I love that book!
the hint gave it away for me, but i was thinking along those lines (no pun intended) anyway.
