A man was running away from an elderly couple who wanted to kill him. Although chased, the man still taunted his pursuers. Soon, more people chased the man. The man, desperate on escaping from his pursuers, agreed to let a friendly stranger help him, but later the stranger betrayed the man and killed him.

sweetime Oct 27, 2005	this was great you completely stumped me, but as soon as i saw it, i got it. the story of the gingerbread man runs vaguely thus: the gingerbread man was running away from people (probably 'coz they wanted to eat him) he ran and ran shouting "run run as fast as you can, you can't catch me, i'm the gingerbread man". only then he got to a river, and was unable to cross it. a sly fox saw him and offered to give him a ride across, the gingebread man agreed and sat on the foxes back as he swam across, as he got a bit deeper the fox told the gingerbread man to sit on his head as the water was getting too deep, the gingerbread man does so. further on he tells the gingerbread man to sit on his nose, and the gingerbread man does so. when this occurs the fox tosses back his head, throws the gingerbread man in the air, and gobbles him up. roughly anyway
