Tim had just won a large sum of money, and traveled the world. He came back from his journey, but still wanted to travel. It was the year 2005, and he knew it was the best time to go traveling. So, he packed up and got on the plane. The cities he visited are these:
Tokyo, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Cairo, London, and Sydney.
What is significant with these choices of cities? It has nothing to do with spelling or letters.

redraptor, I think that was the correction...
Hi!! I am from Melbourne and have always been taught that Sydney is the most populated city in Australia. Don't take my word for it, however that was the reason I was not able answer this teaser correctly.
oooh ooh ooh did he come visit me tinman
and just to nitpick - isn't this one of those teasers that will become out of date as time changes?
you might want to think about putting a year in the teaser tinman.
otherwise, nice work

No offence, but i don't like this teaser. I like the idea of it, but none of its facts are reliable. Each different source will give you a different population, and, worst of all, when these surveys are carried out, the government won't usually count the population of certain areas.
