If you look at it without the parallelogram, you can easily see that they are the same sise, I love it .

its true, but it doesnt make any senese. you know, all the geometry you learn, one side of that triangle is the same, and the adjacent side on b is longer than the one on a, so the hypotenuse of b is supposed to longer...i dunno. confuzing

That's because these lines making triangles are NOT RIGHT TRIANGLES. The Pythagorean theorem only works on right triangles, and so does not apply here.
