Presidential Quote Game
Trivia brain teasers have some element of trivia in them, but they are not just pure trivia questions.
I once had a U.S. history teacher who liked to make learning more interesting in his class. He created little games out of his quizzes. This teaser is in honor of him. His technique and patience helped form my interest in history.
Can you match the presidential quotes from section A with the right president from section B? Good luck.
Section A
1. "To be prepared for war is one of the most effectual means of preserving peace."
2. "Do I not destroy my enemies when I make them my friends?"
3. "If it were not for the reporters, I would tell you the truth."
4. "Speak softly and carry a big stick."
5. "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall."
6. "We will bring the terrorists to justice; or we will bring justice to the terrorists. Either way, justice will be done."
Section B
1. George Walker Bush.
2. Chester Alan Arthur.
3. Abraham Lincoln.
4. Ronald Wilson Reagan.
5. George Washington.
6. Theodore Roosevelt.
