Impossible Journey
Science brain teasers require understanding of the physical or biological world and the laws that govern it.
It is impossible for anyone to survive longer than one week without drinking, yet Abdullah managed a ten day desert crossing without finding water or bringing any along. How was this possible?
Answer
A desert is a region so arid that it supports little or no vegetation. Many areas of the far north are also considered deserts, which is where Abdullah made his ten day crossing. He survived by eating ice and snow.

Abdullah could have been trained in survival and techniques. Water can be produced by a desert still. Thus he would not have found it (it wasn't there to find), and he didn't bring it with him. All he needed was some plastic and either a hole or a healthy bush.

im with RYRYRY on this one, water is water, even in the forms of snow and ice. so once again Blaze misses the mark. Also I see Rayneeday putting his two cents worth in, he/she can see their crown slipping away.

To reiterate the other posters, ice and snow is water! With that in mind, let's reword your answer. He didn't find water, but he found solid and crystallized water, thus it isn't really water? Your stupidity confuses me.

I think it may be a VERY long time before someone reads this teaser, let alone the comments, but I think credit needs to be given where credit is due. This teaser is written, word for word, off of a playing card from the game Mindtrap. The submitter didn't even change the names or the wording of the solution, so although it may be wrong, it is also copyright infringement and plagerism. FYI-I have this game, which is how I recognized it, and it is a blast!

I think you will find that most of Blaze's teasers came directly from mindtrap.

So, technically, he did find water: the ice/snow. Could have been better in my opinion.
