 Five years ago, Anthony was three times as old as his sister. Now he is only twice as old. How old are Anthony and his sister?
let a represent Anthony's age, then s represent the sister
First Statement:
a  5 = (s  5) * 3
a = (s  5) * 3 + 5
Second Statement:
a = s * 2
Combination:
2s = (s  5) * 3 + 5
2s = (s  5) * 3 + 5
2s = 3s  10
s = 10
s = 10
Therefore, Anthony's age is 20 and his sister's is 10.

 Everyone seems to have gotten the answer right, so what is the Correction?
I would get only partial credit. Too eager to find the answer.
