Six words have had their weapons removed. The weapons have been placed into Group A. The remaining letters of each word have been placed into Group B. Your task is to reconstitute the words by merging each weapon with the proper set of letters. Other than merging the two groups together, there is no rearranging of the letters. Example: sand + pne = spanned (SpANneD).

Group A: bomb, gun, mace, rifle, saber, spear
Group B: ainale, ltto, niur, tiliz, toiat, urntual

Ooooh! When I was trying to do this, I didn't catch the fact that the 1st word from group A corresponds with the 1st word in group B, and so on... I think I could have gotten it if I had known that lol.

I agree with you morning rain - even though I ended up getting the words correctly, knowing that the words in group A and B lined up would have enabled me to figure them out a lot faster, instead of checking each word in A to each word in B and so on. Still a fun teaser though. Not knowing that they lined up made me think more!

Actually, having them in the same order really did make it kinda easy. I would've mixed them up personally.

I always list the options in each group alphabetically. For this teaser, they just happened to line up more than usual.

This one was fun! Keep them coming.

Took me awhile to figure it out. Good teaser

Fun teaser. Took me a while to figure out, and I never did get the 4th one. Thanks for posting.

The remaining leters for rifle and saber are wrong. Rifle should have toiat and Saber should have tiliz...

Got all but #4.

Fantastic teaser, took some time, got 3 of them. For as hard as this was, I think an obscure word like "trifoliate" was adding insult to injury, but otherwise very enjoyable

I too missed the fact that they were matched. When you wrote, "merging each weapon with the proper set of letters." I thought that implied that you have to figure out what the proper set of letters was. I gave up really quick.

I couldn't have said it better than auntiesis!

When I saw the answer & realized the weapon in line was placed exactly above the remainder of the word in line B it was easier. I could not get any of these because I was looking all over the place I guess I needed clearer instructions for this.
Oh Well

Fun one! thanks. I got 4/6 ... better than I expected.
Apr 08, 2008

Great teaser. A few where alittle hard, the rest were pretty easy.

Apr 09, 2008

They aren't matched up. The letters for rifle and saber are reversed.
Apr 09, 2008

Good teaser. I got four out of six. The instructions are correct and rifle and saber are not reversed. Read the comments from the author on March 8, 2006. The options in both groups are listed in alphabetical order, they just happened to line up almost. It tripped me up too, those are the two I missed.
