Working 9 to 5
Language brain teasers are those that involve the English language. You need to think about and manipulate words and letters.
Jennifer reported to work, and has been at her task for almost eight hours. She has been looking forward to the big softball game tonight, and is worried about how well she will play after a grueling day on the job. Change WORK to PLAY by changing one letter at a time. The change must go through TASK and GAME. Each step must produce a valid word in the English language. No word can be used more than once.
WORK ----> TASK ----> GAME ----> PLAY

| You really need to write this out more clearly, since instructions were poorly written. |

| Maybe you could have said; starting with the word WORK, change one letter at a time to form a new word, making sure to spell TASK and GAME along the way to PLAY. That would have been less cryptic than your original "instructions". |

| This would have been awesome if the intructions were a little clearer. I tried to do it using only the letters available in Work Task Game and Play, it was taking me forever |

| I LOVE these, but people unfamiliar with this type of word play would definitely need clearer directions.
More of these, please!!! |

| Well, I found the instructions clear enough, even if they weren't the way I would write them, myself. Those of you who enjoy the puzzle (once you know the rules) can find plenty. They come under the name of "couplets" (Lewis Carroll's original term) or "word ladders". |

| Sorry, my working days are over, but you did a neat job. As usual when you work it takes a long time to get to play. My brain would rather play today than concentrate so hard. |

| I am having problems with word building from Work to Play using Task. There are no words within this group that begins with B or F so, I am at a loss. Nevertheless, the Teaser or the idea of this teaser is good. |

| Yes, I agree with Mrfatbat, the instruction were meager and the use of the letters from the Words given Work, Task, Game Play don't produce words with "F" or "B" or "C" However, the Teaser was a good "Find the Word" puzzle. It is still Good Work and I look forward to others. |
