Clever teaser, but any baseball fan can tell you the hint is suspect. Babe Ruth was sold to finance No No Nannette in 1919. Perhaps the song was added later, but what is your soure for 1925?

Barticus my source was the internet and we know 'it' can not be deemed accurate!
My friend's hubby proposed to her with a beautiful tea pot that played the 'Tea for Two' song. She told me it was their first date and gave me '25 as an approximate date. Since that was what I found Googling, I went with it.
Thanks for giving us some facts and a corrected date.
I appreciate it.

king_leonard so glad you got it and enjoyed it!
As far as grammar I 'leaf' it to those smarter than myself. (Translation: The real issue -- I didn't know how to spell it.)
Thanks for your comments.

I'm glad you got it! (Super Stick-to-itiveness!) Do stop and ask for directions when you are lost - it saves time. smile
Sorry about the hint. (Some would have Googled the answer.)
Appreciated your interaction.

CB123 thanks so much! You must be pretty young and a male!
It is a very old song, right up there with 'Yes, We have no Bananas'! You might not even know what a 78 is? If you have a player piano in the family, you'll probably find the tune. It really was popular 'Once upon a time...

Thanks so much all of you for your comments.

Cute one Rita...now I will be humming these little ditties all night long.
Yes, we have no bananas. We have no bananas today, but we do have two for tea and tea for two...you for me and me for you (awww...you get the point here)

JmBannana 4 T 2 was a very good year. There was time to sip tea in those days. Glad you liked my rebus.
