I do like riddles with answers provided though, like in the Hobbit, or here...
...so I guess I can at least say that this is a good riddle, and a successful one too, because it certainly riddled me. |

| It took me nearly a minute. I kept rereading it. From the title and color of envy I had lots of green in my head, then I looked at "Curse me when I stray from fair" with all this green in my head until "fair" became "fairway". Great job. |
